He is survived by: his girlfriend Jami Heavener of Sikeston; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Laura Haney of East Prairie; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Jamie Nelson of Sikeston, Brittany O'Conner of East Prairie, Kendy and Justin Eberhard of Sikeston. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews; and his loving aunts and uncles.

“I’ve pretty much been in shock since I heard the tragic news. I just want the family to know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers. There’s no words I can say that will take the pain and sorrow from your hearts.
