John Braden Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 85, John Braden of Sikeston, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Braden to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Braden and Demetra Green Braden. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley McMillen; his caregiver Shirley; his sons, Derek (Kathy) and David (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Ashley Thilges (Chris), Michelle Smith (Austin), Jenna Pettit (Colby), Kelly Braden, Julie Ridder (Devin), Emily Gibson (Trey) and James Braden (Natalie). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shady Acres Church of Christ (1440 Ables Rd, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
