She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie McGee and Leola Dykes McGee; her husband Rupert Douglas Cross; her daughter Patricia Lynn McGee Wright; and her siblings, Eugene Wright, Mary McGee Johnson and Flora McGee Worth.

She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Ray Counts (Staci), Rupert Douglas Cross, Jr., Kay Frances Cross, Audrey Lynn Cross and Rebecca Darlene Cross; and her siblings, Ray McGee and Annette Merrick. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
