He is survived by: his spouse Bobbye Lou Scott; his son Berry Scott Hooper (Meredith Whitehead Hooper); his granddaughter Soma Grace Hooper; his sister Sandy Evans (John); his niece LeeAnn McDowell; his nephews, James Evans and Hugh M. Gilmore; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Scott Crowley and John Crowley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
