It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Gene Johnson of Sikeston, Missouri, who passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Beck, David Beck, Robert Beck, David Johnson (Mara), Helen Beck, Judy Tolbert (Randy) and Virginia Lair (Steven); and his former wife Patricia Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Christian Johnson of Sikeston, MO.; his children, Ashley Marr (Cody) of Jackson, MI, Hollyann Johnson of Sikeston, MO and Russell Johnson of Jackson, MI; his stepdaughter Fallon Simmons of Sikeston, MO.; his grandchildren, Lillian, Marley, Bella, Rayvern, McKinley, Rhett, Myles and Micah; his siblings, Beverly Breece (Dennis), Wayne Beck (Dottie), Patricia Maher (Gary), Rayburn Johnson (Joanne), Gordon Beck, Marilyn Fritz, Vergil Johnson (Susan), Clayton Beck, Janet Jones (Jimmy), Joseph Johnson (Ruby) and Kimberly Staggs (Rich); his father-in-law Thressia (Albert Simmons); and his parents, Dorothy Mae Lewis and Rayburn Hunter Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and special friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Charlie Cayce Pavilion (525 S Mill St, Festus, MO 63028).
