She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Lewis and Gladys Schultz Lewis; her brother Richard Lewis; and the father of her children Donald R. Bohannon. She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Bohannon (Kathy) of Sikeston and Nancy Bohannon Blackburn of Overland Park; and her grandchildren, Charlie Bohannon (Annie), Natalie Coppage (Sam), Patrick Blackburn (Molly) and Lauren Blackburn. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1307 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
