She was predeceased by: her brothers, Todd Garner and Kip Garner. She is survived by: her husband Eric Reeves Smith; her children, Troy Smith of East Prairie, Deric Smith of St. Louis, Missouri and Melissa Danial Bashear of Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Seevin, Phoenix, James, Anthony, Kylia, Kelly and Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Terresa's final act of generosity perfectly reflected her thoughtful nature; while researching end-of-life options, she chose whole-body donation as a meaningful way to give back to the world. It was her sincere hope that her choice would encourage others to consider whole-body donation as a way to advance medical science and help future generations.
