He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Earl Brewer and Mary Viola Jones Brewer; his spouse Nikki Heavener; and his brothers, James Wright and Eugene Wright.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Lee Earl Brewer; his grandchildren, Kasen, Karleigh and Kazlynn Brewer; his sisters, Ruby Brewer, Mary Williams, Linda Kay Haynes, Bonnie Sue Brewer and Donna Faye Hartwick; and his friend David Terry, Sr..
