She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Turner and Peggy Chitwood; and her son Lawrence Sweeten. She is survived by: her husband Larry Sweeten; her daughter Laura Miller (Art); and her siblings, Thomas Turner (Tammy), Barbara Ward (late Max) and Ann Greenslet.
