It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Lee Thoroughman of Silex, Missouri, born in Saint Charles, Missouri, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Clara Thoroughman (Hilker) and William Thoroughman; his former life partner Rita J. Thoroughman (Hercules); his granddaughter McKenna Carroll; and his siblings, Emanuel, Percy Thoroughman, Clarice Thoroughman, Phyllis Rothermich, Clemie Blair, Rosie Moritz and Bernice Robinson.

He is survived by : his children, Tina Bruns (Robert), Greg Thoroughman (Karla), Lisa Key, Tim Thoroughman (Stephanie), Tom Thoroughman, Chris Wilkinson (Jay), Jay Thoroughman (Merna), Tracy Carroll (Jim) and Jessica Meyer (Justin); his grandchildren, Robbie Bruns (Angie), Jamie Bruns (Christy), Torey Stille (Jamie), Lesley Kilcullin (Jeff), Ashley Gonzalez (Michael), Kyley Dermody (Nathan), Wes Thoroughman (Brandy), Josh Thoroughman (Sarah), Travis Key (Ashley), Aprile Stanek (Tim), Justine Dixon (Ryan), Casey Brown (Jeremy), Julie Key, Eli Thoroughman, Blake Thoroughman, Rita Thoroughman, Klaire Thoroughman, Shaunna Wilkinson-Ross (Evan), Kayla Henke (David), Amanda Ohmes, Melanie Webb (Jeremy), Abby Lasater (Jordan), Madeline Thoroughman, Andrew Carroll (Greta), Alec Carroll (Sarah), Austin Carroll (Xian), Bailey Carroll, Clayton Carroll, Paige Colbert (Jake), Jackson Carroll, Cain Meyer, Chayce Meyer, Cole Meyer and Cannon Meyer; his sisters-in-law, Pat Hercules, Wanda Hercules, Audrey Hercules and Helen Parsons; and his wife Virginia. He is also survived by 40 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his memory to St. Alphonse School in Silex or Sacred Heart School in Troy.
