He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Washington Hale and Rosie Matilda Katherine Hale (Waggle); his wife Pauline Barks; and his siblings, Truman, Eugene, Albert, James, William Hale, Virginia Holmes, Tiney Eaton, Lillie Crites, Fredia Croney, Sadie Jennerjohn and Vida Bernard.
He is survived by: his former wife Mabel Tomlinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Inc. - Greenville (114 Sycamore St, Greenville, MO 63944). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Twidwell Cemetery.
