She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Wykoff and Berniece Fox Wykoff; her former husband James Lienhard; her spouse J. I. Akeman; and her stepson David Akeman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Barber of Kansas City and Kary Anderson of Marshall; her stepdaughter Susan Guarino of Hemet, California; and her sisters, Martha Rose Perrin of Slater and Elizabeth Brown of New Market, Tennessee. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Slater United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
