She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Booven and Dellorese Neff Van Booven; her spouse Erdell C. Hemeyer; her granddaughter Etty Rose Kays; and her brother J. F. Van Booven.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Hemeyer (Maggie) of Lillington, Carl Hemeyer (Jan) of Slater, Clay Hemeyer (Darla) of Slater, Mark Hemeyer of Marshall and Judy Kays (Ed) of Marshall. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
