It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty M. Shepard of Slater, Missouri, who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty M. Shepard to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley J. Anderson and Cleo Brunson Anderson; and her husband Richard D. Shepard. She is survived by: her children, Harley E. Shepard (Martha) of Blue Springs, Richard L. Shepard (Patricia) of Frisco, Texas and Sherry Lee Vogl of Marshall. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Slater, or Big Bend Retreat in care of the funeral home.
