It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edna Mae Sample of Slater, Missouri, born in Miami, Missouri, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Wayne Ramey and Edna Mae Taylor Ramey; her husband James E. Sample; her granddaughter Jamie Tabor; and her sisters, Wanda Benedict, Juanita Tobin, Vivian Wiley and Norma Ramey.

She is survived by : her granddaughters, Marci Gari of Slater, Sheila Morgan of Micanopy and Angie Sample of Moberly; and her brother William "Bill" Ramey (Joyce) of Miami. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of Weiker Funeral Home.
