He was predeceased by: his parents, Robin E. "Bob" Lightfoot, Jr. and Noreen Eatherton Lightfoot; his siblings, Robin "Butch" Lightfoot, III, David Lightfoot and Susan Feuers; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Grace Lightfoot and Allison Hager.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Lightfoot (Melissa) of Warrensburg, Brad Lightfoot of Slater, Scott Lightfoot (Julie) of Green Ridge, Eric Lightfoot (Jessica) of Jacksonville, Teresa Hager (Duke Johnson) of Slater, Robert Richards (Jamie Leimkuehler) of Gilliam and Mechelle Pannell (Robert) of Slater. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Slater United Methodist Church or the American Legion Post #78 in care of Weiker Funeral Home in Slater.
