It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Thomas (Slater, Missouri), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert L. Thomas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ham Thomas and Mary Edith Eddy Thomas; his stepmother Minnie Pearl Thomas; and his siblings, Max Thomas and Mary Frances Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Robby Thomas (Lu Ann) of Slater, Wanda Thomas Cramer (David) of Marshall and Melissa "Missy" Thomas Gant of Marshall; his grandchildren, Todd Jackson (Sally), Miranda Fuchs (Robbie), Kristyn Snell (Martin), Levi Thomas (Whitney) and Tyler Nienaber (Jill); his great grandchildren, Elijah Jackson, Isaac Jackson, Karsyn Fuchs, Abigail Fuchs, Marlee Fuchs, Finley Fuchs, Ryder Snell, Harper Snell, Quinn Thomas, Kamden Nienaber, Violet Nienaber, Gianna Nienaber and Arthur Nienaber; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexis Shurtleff and Zoe Shurtleff; and his sisters, Martha Thomas Smith of Ozark and Laura Lee Yeagle of Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Weiker Funeral Home (202 W Emma St, Slater, MO 65349). The military honors will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ridge Park Cemetery (780 E Yerby St, Marshall, MO 65340).
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church or National Veterans Administration.
