He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Raymond and Ethel Marie Butler (Shrader); his wife Mary Lynn Butler; and his sisters, Esther Alley and Frances "Frankie" Robinette.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Butler (Michelle), Michael Butler, Ian Borath (Debra), Lisa Bumgarner, Michelle Butler, Kristina Porter (Sam) and Shawna Hayes (Don); his brothers, Paul Butler (Susan) and Mark Butler (Sheila); and his grandchildren, Amanda Porter, Bethany Kearney (Jake), Logan Hayes (Bre), Shannon Hayes, Renata Prado, JD Hayes, John Porter, Darrion Prado (Metaia) and James Porter. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holden Cemetery (1369 SW 400th Rd, Holden, MO 64040).
