He is survived by: his children, Marlyn Dean Kern, Jr. (Denise) of Eldon, MO, Ryan Peters (Kylee) of Lawrence, KS, Chris Peters (Tonja) of Syracuse, MO and Sarah Turner (Leon) of Syracuse, MO; and his close friend Betty Fudge. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
