He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Ann Marquess (Yoast). He is survived by: his father Henry Elwood Marquess; his wife Jennifer Leigh Thomas; his children, Brittney Goff of Smithton, Tyler Marquess of Cole Camp, Dillon Goff (Kaitlyn) of Ft. Riley, KS and Joseph Marquess of Warsaw, MO; his brothers, Buddy Marquess (Marybeth) of Warsaw, MO and Johnny Marquess (Becky) of Otterville, MO; and his grandson Lucas Goff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
