It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jolene Foster of Smithville, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Foster. She is survived by: her children, Danny (Darci), Constance (Kevin), William (Angela) and Michael. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local food bank, to continue to feed people – like Barbara always did, or to the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City – to help children to do well.
