He was predeceased by : his parents, Maurice Jones and Wilma Jones (Baker); his wife Betty Annette Foster; his granddaughter Macklyn; his siblings, Charlotte, Carol, Gene, Ronnie and Donnie; and his brother-in-law Eugene Shipley.

He is survived by : his friend Carl; his children, Samantha and Andrew (Hadleigh); his grandchildren, Carly, Georgia and Henry; his brother Earl Jones (Janet); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Jones, Barbara Shipley and Bob Foster (Cindy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Dinner and Fellowship. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Ridgley Cemetery.
