He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Elizabeth Morton (Bullock); his wife Marilyn Morton; his father David Morton; and his sister Mary Lee Bogart. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Henson (Bradley) and Tiernie Darr (James); his grandchildren, Jeromy Darr (Ashley), Jonathan Darr (Amy) and Mackenzie Messina (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Charley, Paisley, Greyson, Christian and Beau. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Smithville or the Smithville American Legion Post #58.
