She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth; her husband Richard Carlson; and her daughter Deborah Ruth Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Rachel Carlson (Wendi Adams), Philip Carlson (Lab) and Matthew Carlson (Lia); and her grandchildren, Beatrix, Theodore, Izabellah, Edward, Magnolia and August. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
