Howard Baker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Howard Baker of Smithville, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Baker and June Baker; and his wife Mary. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Baker (Jean) of Flower Mound and Richard Baker (Judy) of Smithville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Michelle Calhoun (James), Tiffany Baker of Smithville, MO, Stacy Bell (Adam), Robbie Sherrod and Kelsey Lievsay (Josh); his great grandchildren, Trystin, Kaidence and Alexander Calhoun; and his grandchildren, Nolan Bell and Adelaide Lievsay. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vaughn-Aufranc Funeral Home (109 W 3 St, Dearborn, MO 64439). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Dearborn Cemetery (608 Main St, Dearborn, MO 64439).

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Howard's late wife, Mary Ann Baker.
