She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Miller and Lillie Miller (Yates); and her brothers, Joe Lewis, Bill, Dan and John Miller.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Morrow (Ferrel); her sisters-in-law, Linda Miller and Linda Buchan (Erik); her husband Kenneth R. Miller; her daughters, Paula J. Roberts (Steve) and Jill A. Fain (Tim); her grandchildren, Derek Roberts (Lisa), Brett Roberts (Brooke), Lucian Fain (Jen), Elena Schultz (Rob), Jacob Fain and Samuel Fain; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Pierce, Cade, Reid, Jackson, Leo, Layla, Ryder, Easton and Raelyn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home (104 Church St, Smithville, MO 64089).
Donations may be made in Sylvia's memory to the Platte County Historical Society.
