He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard "Red" Coffer and Carol Coffer; and his stepfather John "Beach" Farel. He is survived by: his father-in-law Don McCarty; his siblings-in-law, Tammie Donahoo and Tom Rains; his significant other Babbi Coffer; his sons, Leonard Chance Coffer and Dylan Coffer (Ashley); his grandchildren, Aspen, Jeremiah, Liberty, Dee Dee, Taylor, Daylin and Mason; his siblings, Donna (Mike), Troy (Jill), Sharon and Arleigh (Steve); and his close friend Dean Savage (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holden Cremation & Funeral Service (8058 State Hwy 14, Sparta, MO 65753). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Boston Cemetery.
