He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bryan Goodwin Sr. and Cheriot Edith Goodwin (Meyer); his wife Sharon Kay Goodwin; his son Curtis Von Goodwin; his siblings, Elizabeth Pauline Bartlett (Fred Lynn) and William Franklin Goodwin; his grandparents, Charles Paul Meyer, Jessie Edith Miller, Lloyd Jackson Goodwin, Lavada Ann Davidson Goodwin, Leo and Bertie Nelson; and his brothers-in-law, Dempsey Wayne Bates, Leo Jr. Nelson, JC Nelson and Jerry Nelson.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Paul Goodwin (Damaris) of Springfield, MO; his siblings, Judy Nadine Bates of Wichita, KS, Edith Lavada Flippo of Highlandville, MO, Robert Lee Goodwin (Ramona) of Springfield, MO and Lloyd Yeuell Goodwin of Bruner, MO.; and his grandchildren, Korbyn Goodwin, Natalie Kay Goodwin, Braxton Williams, Shaun Ross and Tyler Ross. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
