We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024, at the age of 80, Tennie Verlene Lakey of Sparta, Missouri, born in Mount Vernon, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tennie Verlene Lakey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Wiles and Tennie Wiles (McCormack); her daughter Lesha Lakey; and her grandson Jeremiah Payne. She is survived by : her husband Don Lakey; her daughter Sarah Ingram of Ozark; her grandchildren, Jamie Melton (Sarah) of Highlandville, Caleb Applegate (Kaitlin) of Dillingham, Alaska, Jennifer Hogan (Marty) of Fordland, Tyrell Ingram of Springfield and Colton Melton of Highlandville; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Olivia, Bailee, Ridge and Gatlin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other caring relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Weaver Cemetery.
