She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A. Hickman and Cecile Hickman (McQuerry); her husband John J. Simpson of Newtown, MO.; and her siblings, Wynn Hickman (Alice), Glen Hickman (Bessie) and Averil Thomas (J. O.).
She is survived by: her children, John A Simpson (Julie) of Spickard, Shanin Parks (Chris) of Princeton and Jarin Simpson (Tracy) of Trenton; her grandchildren, Ava, Abby Simpson of Trenton, Milo, Katy Simpson of Spickard and Rachelle Rieckhoff (Logan) of LaMonte, MO; and her great grandchildren, Brooke and Riley Rieckhoff.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Groff Cemetery and may be left with the funeral home.
