It is with sadness that the passing of Boyd Torrey of Spickard, Missouri is shared. Boyd, born on March 18, 1932, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Clair and Cleo Capitola Cochell Torrey; his wife Virginia Colleen Hamilton; and his siblings, Lester, Phyllis Torrey, Jimmy, Mae Torrey, Bob and Cleo Torrey.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hooker (Mike) and Jay Torrey (LuAnne); his grandchildren, Ryan Torrey (Mindy), Jerod Torrey (Rachel), Sarah Jordan (Omar), Kevin Wyatt (Sarah) and Kelby Wyatt (Lacey); and his great grandchildren, Berkley Colleen Bond, Quincey Rae Bond, Monroe Jay Torrey, Elliana Grace Torrey, Addison Grace Wyatt, Carter Edwin Wyatt, Weston Lane Wyatt, Kamden Jo Wyatt, Isla Mae Jordan, Everly Rose Jordan and Raelee Lou Torrey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at the Ravanna Cemetery East Highway.
Memorials to either Ravanna Cemetery or Princeton VFW Post No. 7159 and may be left with the mortuary.
