He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Stephens and Dorothy Louise Stephens (Berry); his wife Peggy Hostetter; his brother Earl Dean Stephens; and his half-brother Raylee Stephens of Spickard.

He is survived by: his son Chris Stephens (Lisa) of Princeton, MO; his siblings, Peggy JoAnn Jenkins of Sedalia, Judy Ann Munday of Lenexa, KS, Delores Herring and Olen J. Stephens (Gloria) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Payge Nelson (Riley) and Dalton Stephens; his great grandchild Ember Nelson; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Stephens.

The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (310 N Hwy 65, Trenton, MO 64683).

Memorials to Green Hills Animal Shelter and may be left with the mortuary.
