She was predeceased by: her parents, Emlis Clayton Strickland (Mike) and Grace Opal Deatherage Strickland; and her sister Lela Langston. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Foster (Kenny) and Rodney Vaughan; her granddaughter Stephanie Waltrip (James); her great grandchildren, Charley and Jack Waltrip; her stepgrandsons, Tanner and Dylan Foster; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayden, Briar, Finley and Montgomery Foster; and her siblings, Hope Heselton, Faith Wilson (Virgil), Doan Vaughan (Howard), Virgie McCannon (Marion), James, Clayton and Raymond Strickland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
