He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gale (Glossip); his son Terry Gene Combs; his daughter-in-law Tina (Adams) of Ozark; his granddaughter Sophia Claire McClung (Nick McClung) of Sparta; his great grandchildren, Zander and Brayden McClung; his daughter Pamela Gale Combs; his son-in-law Michael Madden; his grandson Riley Mikale Madden; his brother Jerry Combs; and his sister-in-law Jean (Ware).
