He is survived by: his wife Terry Necessary-Ware; his daughter Dr. Jennifer Hawkins (James); his grandchildren, Jude Allan Hawkins and Maryn Rae Hawkins of Columbia, MO; his daughter Sara Ferguson; and his grandchildren, Bella Grace Ferguson and William Noah Ferguson of Hutto, TX..
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MS Society of Springfield, MO.
