He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stark and Patsy Stark (Thurman); his grandparents, Roy Lee, Callie Stark, Charles and Edna Thurman; his sister Janet Sue Maggard (Stark); his parents-in-law, Loren and Sue Thomas; and his nephew Justin Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara Stark (Thomas); his aunt Doris Graham; his sisters, Jane Baker (Bill) and Becky Mitchem (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, Gary Maggard and Pam Vercelli (Rick); and his nieces and nephews, Greg Maggard (Kary), Matt Maggard (Stephanie), Anne Longwell (Travis), Brett Baker (J'Ne), Scott Baker, Monica Bowman (Jeremy), Bart Baker (Kaity), Tyler Mitchem (Julie) and Erin Mitchem. He is also survived by 18 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any appreciation and offer of support to be paid forward to "4 The Love of K9's," a non-profit animal rescue in Springfield.
