He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Mallory; his parents, Dillard Mallory and Ferrell Mallory; and his in-laws, Jim and Juanita Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Jennifer Spears, Stephanie Brown and Chris Mallory; his grandchildren, Cristina Spears, Stephen Brown, Dan Spears, Mallory Hunter, Sam Spears, Paul Spears, James Spears, Tyler Mallory, Jason Mallory and Arthur; and his sister Kathryn Richardson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Springfield.
