It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bart Duane Nelson of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Kay and Arthur Wendell Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Nelson; his son Blake Nelson; his siblings, Shanon Hayes of Copeland, KS, Natalie Glassco (Scott) of Angel Fire, NM and Matt Nelson of Lawrence, KS; and his nieces and nephews, Nic, Kylee, Connor, Madison, Cierra, MacKenzie and Jarod. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.

In lieu of Flowers, suggested memorial contributions can be made payable to Rides 4 Ability c/o Blake Nelson, LLC.
