He was predeceased by: his wife Beverlee Jean Jackson; his children, Michael Ewald and Linda Ewald; and his son-in-law Robert Baxter. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ewald, Judy Elizabeth Magruder (Stephen), Paul Joseph Ewald, Faith Germaine Irmen (Brian) and Michelle Josette Baxter; his granddaughter Christina Marie Magruder (Thomas); his great grandchild Jazmynn Lynn Goodall (Christopher); his children, Ryland (Graysen), Richard Stephen Magruder (Stephanie), Ryker (Rhett), Matthew Magruder (Kaula), Easton, Oaklyn (David Ewald), Gabbie (Parker), Jacob Ewald, Raven (Phoebe), Racheal Ewald (Brendon), Evelyn, Logan, Isabella, Ariel Ewald, Hailey, Cason, Anthony Ewald, Johnathan Ewald (Angelia), Amethyst, James, John, Timothy Ewald, Rebecca Ewald, Oliver, Rose Marie, Reed William Irmen, Kelly Jean Irmen (Gunner) and Bryon; Carson, Cayson, Elizabeth and Mark Anthony Magruder (Melissa). He is also survived by three children and two stepchildren.
