He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Floyd Tooley and Lorena Helen Tooley (Lott); his stepfather Willis Gibson; his siblings, Darlene Innes, Rex, Roy Tooley and Junior Gibson; his daughter Laura Mitts; and his granddaughters, Christina Smith and Rachel Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Wendy Smith and William Bernard; his grandchildren, Sawyer Smith (Maddie), Abigail Culp (John), Sarah Brewer, Stacie Daniel (Gus), Rebekah Mitts, Erica Smith, Jassimine Smith and Skyler Teifke; his great grandchildren, Dante Culp, Jaden Culp, Ellie Daniel, Julie Daniel and Sister Violet Carter; and his brothers, Roger Gibson and Russell Gibson (Renee). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery.
