He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Gene and Ruby Etta Thomas (Snider); his wife Sherry Lynn Grayson; his siblings, Eddie Dean Thomas, Vernon Ray Thomas, James Burl Thomas and Donna Kay Clevenger; and his stepson Jody Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy James Grayson (Kristin Elizabeth Lyons), Derrick Wayne Grayson (Rachael Grayson) and Stephanie Nicole Godfrey; his stepson Joshua Haygood; and his sisters, Pamela Jean Thomas and Verna Faye Allen. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and tons more friends and family.
