We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2023, at the age of 71, Carmen Frances Shanks Bein of Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laddie Wallace Shanks and Mary Ellen Vogt Shanks; and her siblings, Ellen Page Shanks Brayfield, Rebecca Jo Shanks Fullerton, Saundra Margaret Shanks Drake, Laddie Bennett Shanks, David Lawrence Shanks and James Glennon Shanks.

She is survived by: her son Eric (Lindsay Bein); her granddaughter Jennifer Rowlinson (John); her daughter-in-law April Bein; her siblings, Thomas Patrick Shanks (Carolyn), Vann Michael Shanks (Diana), Roberta Jean Shanks Jameson, Theresa Lynn Shanks and Mary Scott Shanks Inmon (Gene); and her grandchildren, Christopher Rowlinson, Joshua Rowlinson (Natalie Allen), Adam Bein, Elizabeth Bein (Ben Follett) and Baileigh Chadwick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
