With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene Ardith Palmer (Springfield, Missouri), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on February 6, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floy M. Austin Myers and Will Myers; and her husband Jerry Palmer. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hitchcock, Tammy, Richard Hitchcock, Shelly Key, Ginger Wimberly and Dennis; and her stepchildren, Jeri Ann Evans, Daniel Palmer and Dawn McPherson. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
