We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Charles Dean Campbell (Springfield, Missouri), born in Salem, Arkansas. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Charles Dean Campbell to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Campbell and Myrtle Campbell (Blevins); and his brother Jim Campbell. He is survived by: his significant other Wanda; his daughters, Susie (Randy Stuart) and Cindy (Kreg Simons); and his siblings, Max (Norma Campbell) and Violet (Bob Sell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many many friends.

Due to the current health risks associated with large gatherings as a result of COVID-19 a private family burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to a Humane Society of the donor's choice.

“Charley Campbell was an all around nice guy. In 1985 he helped my husband and I when we were stranded on the side of Rte 65 between Branson and Springfield at 6 am on our way to work. He took us both to our respective workplaces even though we didn't ask him to do all that. Being from St Louis I didn't know who he was. When I got to work I told all the guys I worked with at MoDOT that a really nice guy in a black suburban who fishes gave us a ride, they were all excited that it was him.”
