He is survived by: his brother Jack Edel (Pat) of Springfield, Missouri; his daughters, Clair Ross of Springfield and Sally Jones (Rodney) of Austin, Texas; and his granddaughters, Sally Amburgey (Scott) of Round Rock, Meghan McKinney (Jimmie) of Springfield, Jennifer Schwoch (Luke) of Austin, Gretchen Watson (Grant) of Austin and Suzanne Reyes (Rene) of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
