It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Eugene Farmer of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Farmer and Lois Farmer (Hurst); and his brother Clifford Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Rita Farmer; his children, Rob Edwards (Beth), Shannon Young (Tim), Brooke Jones and Anthony Farmer (Allison); his sister-in-law Brenda Farmer; and his cousin Janice Hurst. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Charles' memory to the Weekend Backpack Program, a partnership between Springfield Public Schools and Ozarks Food Harvest.
