He is survived by: his children, Pamela Lynn Newton and Charles David Newton; his daughter-in-law Julie Newton of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kristin Michelle of Nixa and David Kendall Newton (Nikki Newton) of Jefferson City, Missouri; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Patience Forster, Kohen, Asher, Elsie and Titus Charles Newton.
