He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Duke and Leona Duke (Armstrong). He is survived by: his siblings, Sam Duke, Mary Perry, Joann Duke and Rose Duke; his niece Elicia Montgomery; his great-niece Elizabeth Kettle; his niece Katrina Duke; his nephew Robert Duke; and his friend Billy Cooper.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
