He is survived by: his son Rick Atha (Sue) of Raymore, MO; his grandchildren, Kelley Porter (Ben) of Lee's Summit, MO, Kyle Atha (Shelley) of Lee's Summit, MO and Joey Gander (Jerry) of Overland Park, KS; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Porter, Claire Porter, Trent Atha, Troy Atha, Ronan Gander and Eamon Gander.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Park Crest Baptist Church or Missouri Veterans Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
