She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Ann Altaffer (Day); and her brother Milan Dale Altaffer. She is survived by: her father Harlan Dale Altaffer (Mary); her children, Nathan Smith, Robert Davis, Kate Smith and Haley Smith; her sisters, Charlene Altaffer (Lesley) and Lesley (Jonathan Griffin); and her uncle Larry Day. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nephews and nieces and numerous cousins.
